Challenge
The original tenant onboarding interface used a dropdown and modal for input, which made it difficult to manage and prioritise onboarding requests at scale. Key issues included poor visibility of tenant status, no filtering to surface pending requests, and a fragmented editing experience.
Solution
Redesigned the interface to use a structured table layout that displays tenant details (Company, Status, Tenant ID, and Domain) at a glance. Added search and filter functionality to help the team identify companies with pending lab requests. Introduced inline status indicators and an “Edit” action button that opens a modal to update Tenant ID and domain with built-in validation. Once details are submitted, the system auto-updates the status from "Requested" to "Ready".
Result
The new design streamlined the onboarding workflow, enabling faster processing of tenant requests and clearer visibility across active and pending tenants. It improved usability for internal stakeholders by reducing friction in navigating, filtering, and updating tenant data.
